In my previous entry I wrote about web page optimization. Today I will write about link building that lead to positioned page.
There are some important factors there:
Webpage catalogues
There are many catalogues on the Internet where we can put a link to our website. Most of the offer us low quality links(thousands of ununique entries, no link to the catalouge, many links that come from exchange links systems). Adding such links to “weak” catalouges is free of charge. More structured catalougues require a small fee for link consideration (yes, consideration, not adding a link – you need to read terms carefully). Some of the valuable catalouges: www.gwiazdor.pl, katalog.onet.pl, www.zgred.pl, kycu.pl.
Pages with articles that have links in their content, so called presell pages
In this case links to our page are located in the article content. There are of course many presell pages and it is not so easy to find a really good one.
It is also important here, to read terms, every page like that can have its own terms, when it comes to entry length, amount of links in the article or topics. Some examples of presell pages in Poland: www.oeil.ws, www.seo-4u.pl.
Pages with reprintable articles
They work similiart to presell pages. You can post articles with links in the content there. The difference is that such pages have good articles, more traffic and more trust from Google page. Our articles can be also posted on other portals with links to our pages stored. Good example of such page is: artelis.pl.
Blog comments, discussion forums
There are many blogs and discussion forums on the Internet. Most of them give an opportunity to leave a link in your comment and it is good to use this opportunity. Most valuable are the links, where blogs are monitored and comments can be moderated by admin. For example: www.pozycjonowaniestron.info.
On the discussion forums it is almost the same. Most valuable links can come from forums that are spam free. You have even more opportunities to put your link there, since you can have it in your user profile, signature and text.Good example can be found here: www.dlaurody.pl/forum/
Buying links
It is useful, but only from the pages that have solid links foundation (similiar keywords we would like to link to our page), good visitors stats and not so many incoming links. You can search for such pages on your own, by studying blogs that are related to our topic (additional traffic to positioned website), or you can use automatized services like f.e. prolink.pl.
Links exchange
Direct link exchange. It is not a good idea though to give our pages higher rank.
Social Media – Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc.
It is useful to use that kind of services, eventhough they only offer nofollow links (as well as most of the comments on blogs).
Other methods
A good idea to get a lot of valuable and natural links is to organize competitions, valuable courses and guides.
Worth mentioning is also that you can create or translate WordPress skins, where in the footer you can place a link to your own website.
