Thank you for your time, you are fired!

You are fired We have been thinking about it for a long time and today we made a decision to fire our employee. As a leading hosting provider we feel, that we need to be the ones to repair the damages in our branch. Our employee started his task 10 years ago in A4 department and now he is fired.

Hello setup fee, how are you today? Hi City Network. Thanks, I am fine. I am always on the move and getting ready for my new assignments.

 

Can you tell us a bit about your background and why you are here? I don’t really remember when it started and how, but I think it was at the time when someone found out, that he can earn money on people that would like to start with hosting. I was available and was like a standard in the industry. The rest is history, so to speak.

 

What are your responsibilities and how do you work on a daily basis? I feel like a relict in the new World and my work is more less automatized. My only assignment is basically to show up on the invoice. Not really fun for the people that receive me, but what can I do, business as usual.

 

That must be really sad for you, to get so much critics for what you are doing? Yes it is sad. I remember times when I was more less accepted and people understood me. There was a reason and a right for me to be sent. Today it is working in a different way, so of course people started to complain.

 

So in general, your only task was to irritate your receivers? Yes, you can say that. I am a part of a pricing politics and I was always there, you could count on that.

 

Ok, but why have you been here for so long? Prices dropped, there was a big change in technology, therefore customers became more mobile. All industry is mobile right now, but I am still available in some places. Today it is not that hard to change your provider. Providers that invested a lot of money, surely want to get their money back as well as keep the customer as long as possible. By using me the customer invests some money in his own purchase, and will think twice before switching to another operator.

 

How do you feel about the statement you got from us today? Well, I am pretty tired and getting old, so it doesn’t bother me that much. I have been here longer that you can expect, and still have a role to play. I think you made a right decision at City Network and you can only benefit from it. You are actually one of the few hosting providers who have done it. I still have quite a lot to do though. In my World you are just one of many, and there are still areas where my services are needed.
