Information security is commonly one of the main concerns in IT today. Leaving guarantees and trusting vendors is not an easy task but some of them do everything in their power to ensure that your data is safe. City Network is one of few infrastructure providers who can claim to have taken extra steps to ensure the safety of our customers data by becoming ISO 27001 certified.
ISO 27001 is an internationally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) that we are now following. We have been working on getting the approval for the better part of the last 12 months, following our recent ISO 9001 certification (Quality Management). Simultaneously we have been working with sustainability and environmental questions and for which we approved for a certification for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) as well.
Just last week we received the physical certificates which means that we have proven to have the tools, methods and training to keep our customers data safe in all our data centers around the world as well as managing our business in a sustainable manner.
Here is an interview with Tony Hallén, Head of Human Resources and Quality at City Network about the importance of focusing on Quality, Information Security and our Environment
We have always strived to bring products and services of the highest quality to our customers. Last year we decided to start working with quality in a structured way and took our first steps towards becoming ISO 9001 certified. In November last year we got our certification of approval which assures that all aspects of our internal processes and methods put our customers in focus.
In January this year, we employed Tony Hallén as our Quality Manager who has dedicated his time to keep us on track and to make sure that we continue to deliver on our promise.
We believe in transparency and in this article we address a number of changes that have already been communicated with our existing customers and that will take effect on May 1.
Daniel Gustafsson is one of our new co-workers here at City. In his new role as Head of Enterprise services his mission will be to build and establish a Enterprise department which takes responsibility for all our large customers and their services as well as bringing new products and services to the market. He has a long, broad experience in the IT-industry and have been through everything from direct customer support and management to procurements and Enterprise-solutions for large customers. We sat down with Daniel to get to know him better.
Tony Hallén has been employed at City Network, as manager of Quality and Human Resources. In this dual role he will ensure that City Network continues to be a prosperous and well-functioning business, while simultaneously undergoing strong expansion. In charge of the company’s quality management in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard he will work to ensure satisfied customers as well as reaching set goals and results through the development of both corporate structure and corporate culture.

Last year we made the list as one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden and this year, we made it again!
We are a select few but all the more important for the jobs in this country. This year, fewer than 900 companies are ranked as fast growing companies, or “Gazelles” by the Swedish Business Daily Dagens Industri. In our region, there are only six and City Network is one of them.
